How to crochet heart amigurumi

I’m sure this amigurumi heart will become your favorite project. It’s perfect for gifting on any occasion, accompanied by a special message.

You can adjust its size and crochet it in any color you like.

Use it as a keychain, garland, or hanging decoration.

This is a free version of the pattern. If you’d like to receive the ad-free PDF file with step-by-step photos and a video tutorial for joining the two parts of the heart, you can purchase it through the following links:

General Notes

  • The heart is designed with rounds joined at the end of each one.
  • Begin each round with 1 ch to rise.
  • Close each round with a sl st, inserting the hook into the first single crochet of that round (not into the chain stitch).
  • Instructions between ** indicate stitches to be repeated in the same round.
  • Ensure your stitches are tight to prevent the stuffing from showing or slipping through.
  • The heart is made of two pieces, joined together to continue crocheting the body.
  • You can use a different yarn weight and hook size to create hearts of various sizes.
